Ishant Sharma warmly welcomed his dear friends after India’s Test series win in England.

Ishant Sharma posted a video of the warm welcome he received from his dear friends on Tuesday, as he arrived home after India’s Test series win in England. In the video, Ishant can be seen standing at the door and his three pet dogs came running from inside the house, waving their tails, and clapping at him. “How does @toyandcocodogs feel when you get home,” Ishant captioned the video on Instagram. Ishant played all four Tests of the series but bowled only 59 overs, with the Indian spinners upset England’s batting at the turning track.

The veteran fast bowler, who became only the second Indian fast bowler after Kapil Dev to complete a century in Test matches, finished the series with six wickets at an average of 26.67.

Ishant has not played a limited overs match for India since 2016. His last ODI came in January 2016, while he last played a T20I match in October 2013.

Ishant has entered an elite league of players who have played 100 Tests for their countries. He is only the 11th player from India to play 100 matches in the longest format. The great Sachin Tendulkar has played 200 Test matches.

During the England series, Ishant also completed 300 wickets in Test cricket. He has now taken 303 wickets at an average of 32.27. He has taken 10 wickets in an innings in addition to 10 wickets in an innings 11 times. Ishant has played 80 ODIs for the country, taking 115 wickets.
