The IPL 2021 season will start on September 19 in the UAE.

The Delhi Capitals’ season begins on September 22 against SRH.

At the moment, Delhi Capitals are in the first place.

Left-arm pacer Kulwant Khejroliya was added to the Delhi Capitals team roster in place of left-arm orthodox bowler Manimaran Siddharth, who was injured.

Left-arm orthodox bowler Manimaran Siddharth was announced as injured by the Delhi Capitals on Wednesday and so will not be participating in the second half of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. He strained his quadriceps during training in Dubai; he is 23 years old. The Mumbai Indians brought in left-arm pacer Kulwant Khejroliya to replace Siddharth in the middle of the season. Khejroliya has averaged 23.29 with 17 wickets over 15 T20 matches while playing for the Delhi Capitals. He is also listed as a net bowler in the team bio-bubble. In the 2018 and 2019 IPL seasons, the 29-year-old played for Royal Challengers Bangalore and took 3 wickets in 5 IPL matches.

The rehabilitation program in Dubai for Manimaran Siddharth, a Capitals support staff member, is being looked at by the team’s support personnel in Delhi. In a few days, he’ll return to India to finish his recovery.

South African fast bowlers Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje, as well as Australian Ben Dwarshuis, arrived at the team hotel in Dubai earlier in the day.

Everyone was tested for COVID-19 when they arrived at the field. Dwarshuis will spend six days in quarantine with the South African players entering the Delhi Capitals’ bio-bubble after just returning from Sri Lanka where they played three limited-overs series.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic in May, the season was put on hold. It will restart on September 19, and in the first game, Chennai Super Kings will face off against defending champions Mumbai Indians.
