Fans loved the post and were quick to congratulate the happy couple. Squash prodigy Dipika Karthik is married to Karthik. To her credit, she is also India’s first official women’s squash world number one. She’s also won medals at the Asian and Commonwealth Games on numerous occasions.

Dipika also used her social media accounts to inform her followers about the development.

Karthik last played for Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 season (KKR).

By defeating Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by four wickets in the Eliminator, the Eoin Morgan-led team finished fourth in the league phase.

In Qualifier 2, KKR defeated Delhi Capitals (DC) by three wickets. A loss to MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL 2021 final eliminated Kolkata from contention for the title.

The IPL 2021 season saw Karthik underperform despite KKR having a strong campaign. He scored 223 runs in 17 games. In addition, he failed to collect a hundred or a half-century of wickets.
