After scoring a century on his debut for India against the West Indies, Yashasvi Jaiswal stunned onlookers with his performance.

In his first international match for India, Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a century against the West Indies, leaving everyone in awe. His 171 runs were a major factor in the maiden Test triumph for the Rohit Sharma-led side, which won by an innings and 141 runs. The 21-year-old batsman, who had a stellar IPL season for Rajasthan Royals, replaced Shubman Gill in the opening lineup with captain Rohit Sharma. Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh joined the chorus of cricket greats who have gushed praise over Jaiswal.

With 16 fours and a six, Jaiswal blasted 171 runs. Harbhajan speculated that the young batter’s disappointment at failing to get a double century was justified. He continued his effusive admiration of Jaiswal by predicting a long international career for the Indian cricket team.

As soon as Yashasvi Jaiswal entered the international cricket scene, she made waves. I think we’ll be seeing him play for India for a very long time, despite the fact that he’ll be unhappy not to have gotten a double hundred. On his YouTube channel, Harbhajan told Jaiswal, “There’s no shortage of talent, and my advice to you would be to work really hard because you have what it takes to conquer the world.”

Not only did Jaiswal get a century, but so did captain Rohit Sharma, while star batter Virat Kohli only needed to face 182 balls to reach 76.

People have been saying for the past two to three years that Rohit hasn’t hit a home run, so kudos to him for finally doing it. Virat, for his 76, also seemed in fine form. But he’ll be sad that he didn’t get the hundred, and so will his admirers, who have been waiting patiently for him to reach that milestone.

India won by an innings and 141 runs on Friday because of the efforts of Ravichandran Ashwin, who took five wickets twice against a weak West Indies batting lineup.

After India declared their first innings at 421 for five in the middle of the afternoon session, the Caribbean hitters were anticipated to put on an improved batting display. Instead, they fell to 130 all out in 50 overs, resulting in a three-day conclusion.
