On her birthday, Wriddhiman Saha went to social media to wish his daughter Mia well.
Wriddhiman Saha took to the welfare media in an adorable post to wish his daughter Mia her birthday. After contracting it for IPL 2021, which was delayed indefinitely mid-season following a number of teams, including Saha, testing cripositive for the deadly virus in the IPL bio-bubble, Saha recently recovered from COVID-19. India internationally labeled a family picture on Twitter, “Whenever I feel like I’m in life, I think of you only because your smile illuminates my life. Blessed are my dearest birthdays, Mia. Mia.”
The veteran cricketer is also part of India’s team for the upcoming final and five-game World Test Championship (WTC) series against England. Virat Kohli’s side faces New Zealand in the WTC final.
While Saha recovered on time, the BCCI committee decided not to take any opportunity to add KS Bharat to the group as cover for the 36-year-old wicketkeeper.
Other than Saha, Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) Michael Hussey and Lakshmipathy Balaji were also highly professional in cases that tested positive for the dreaded virus.
In the meantime, Varun Chakravarthy, Sandeep Warrier, and Prasidh Krishna from Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) returned with positive results for the virus too.
The deceptive IPL 2021 season for Saha and SRH saw David Warner also remove the captain in favor of Kane Williamson from the squad. In just seven matches, SRH could collect a win until the game was postponed.
Saha will also soon fly with the rest of the squad to the UK, where India will begin its WTC tour of New Zealand on June 18.
