Dismissing Indian Premier League superstars like Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Virat Kohli and Mumbai Indians’ Rohit Sharma is the holy grail for every bowler.

The ultimate goal for any bowler in the Indian Premier League is to get the superstar batsmen for the Royal Challengers Bangalore, Virat Kohli, and the Mumbai Indians, Rohit Sharma, out of the game. Even when they aren’t doing well, teams still want to take their wickets because of the duo’s stellar reputation and record. While Kohli is among the league’s leading run scorers in 2023’s IPL, his strike rate has been called into doubt. Rohit is going through a rough spell; he now holds the record for the most ducks by a batter in the IPL with 16.

They are both still highly sought after, though. Recently, at an occasion, the question “Favourite wicket?” was posed to Deepak Chahar, a star bowler for CSK. Virat Kohli or Rohit Sharma? It’s a difficult problem.

I have gotten Rohit Bhai many times,” was Chahar’s astute response. Then, “Virat Kohli.

In the current IPL season, Rohit has only scored 184 runs at an average of 18.39 and a strike rate of 126.89. He has been unable to log in for the past two contests. Last time out against Chennai Super Kings, Rohit got his record-setting 16th duck in the Indian Premier League.

It’s not the bowlers that Rohit Sharma is up against; it’s himself. Former India opener Virender Sehwag recently stated, “There is a mental block,” on Star Sports’ Cricket Live.

His technique at the plate is flawless. There’s some muddle in his head. We’ll make up for lost matches the day he gets going.
