While rain was spoiling, West Indian sportsmen were in high spirits.
The hosts were observed playing cricket in their wardrobe.
As the rain washed out of Pakistan on the second day of the Kingston Test, West Indians chose to play crickets in the cloakroom.
Saturday was the second day of a test match between West Indies and Pakistan at Kingston’s Sabina Park without bowling. After rebounding from three early blows, Pakistan concluded the first-day play at 212/4. Windies commanding the 2-game 1-0 range wanted to regain control of the Kingston Test on Day 2, but the weather forced them to wait all day long in the dressing room.
The hosts, however, used the chance and were very motivated when they chose to play cricket in the dressing room themselves, a video uploaded by Cricket West Indies on Twitter showed.
The video shows Jomel Warrican, a left-arm spinner, who is being delivered by Chemar Holder. With Warrican leaving the ball, Holder and others in the locker room begin to celebrate what they believe to be an LBW dismissal.
But Warrican is reluctant not to walk and requests a mock assessment of DRS. In steps, former squad captain Jason Holder begs for a slow re-establishment of the delivery.
Batsman Shamarh Brooks then does arbitrary tasks in the field, comically replaying the ball line and length. He does it twice, only to make certain.
After watching the ridiculous resumption of the delivery in question, Holder pronounces: Warrican is out!
