Today’s Dream11 Prediction will be for the dream teams Chennaiyin FC (CFC) and FC Goa (FCG) in Indian Super League – 2020-21 on February 13th at GMC Stadium, Bambolim. Among CFC and FCG, the FCG team has higher chances to win this match.

Chennaiyin FC vs FC Goa Dream11 Preview

Fans can expect an attacking brand of football between these two teams with a place in the knockout stage up for grabs. With Mumbai FC and ATK Mohan Bagan having already confirmed their spot in the knockout stage only two places remain to be filled. For Chennaiyin FC this is their final shot to remain in contention for a playoff spot. The equation for the team from the south is very simple — if they lose then the season is over for the two-time champions but even if they win, the qualification for play-offs still depends on other results working in their favour.

Chennaiyin FC and FC Goa will resume their 2020-21 Indian Super League (ISL) campaign in Match No. 92 on Saturday. Both teams are winless in their last five matches.

Chennaiyin FC’s poor form has resulted in them scoring only 11 goals this ISL season — the least by any team. Defensively, they have done better by conceding only 17 goals in 17 matches.

Hyderabad FC, ATK Mohun Bagan, and Mumbai City FC are the only three other teams in ISL 2020-21 to have conceded fewer goals.

FC Goa have shared the spoils in their previous five games. Their last win came in a 3-0 victory over Jamshedpur FC a month ago. The Gaurs have scored 24 goals this ISL season, and are just behind Mumbai City FC in the tally.

FC Goa need to improve their defending in set-pieces. They have let in 14 of their 19 goals from dead-ball situations.

In the last match between Chennaiyin FC and FC Goa, the former won 2-1, courtesy of goals from Rafael Crivellaro and Rahim Ali. Jorge Ortiz Mendoza was the lone goalscorer for the Gaurs.

Since losing to Chennaiyin FC in December, FC Goa have stretched their unbeaten run to nine games in the ongoing Indian Super League. On Saturday, Goa will once again face Chennaiyin at the GMC Bambolim Stadium. But this time, Goa will be looking to cement their playoff berth with a win against the struggling Chennaiyin side.

For Chennaiyin, their hopes of reaching the playoffs look bleak but they are not out of the running yet. Three wins in the last three games could very well open up a chance to the top-four, although a lot will depend on other teams’ results. For now, Chennaiyin are up for a do-or-die match on Saturday. If they lose or draw, they will be out of contention from the playoffs.

FCG vs CFC Match Prediction

Chennaiyin are coming back off a 0-1 defeat to Jamshedpur. An own goal in the 90th minute saw Csaba Laszlo’s side lose. The Romanian coach rued missing chances that have plagued his side the whole season. With just 11 goals in 17 matches, Chennaiyin are the worst attacking side in the league.

“We had a big chance to win the game against Jamshedpur. They had just one shot on target but unfortunately, we conceded an own goal and lost a game at the last minute. This is very painful because we had good chances to score and win the game,” Laszlo said.

However, now the focus is on getting nine points from three games and for that, Chennaiyin will have to find goals by converting their chances. Chennaiyin have the second-best in the league in terms of shot and third in creating chances. But they have failed to convert bulk of their chances.
