Cricket legend Gautam Gambhir has been named the new Lucknow franchise's mentor.


On Saturday, IPL Lucknow’s new head coach was announced as former India cricketer Gautam Gambhir.

In his playing days, Gambhir led KKR to two IPL championships.

Gambhir was welcomed into the RPSG family by Sanjiv Goenka.
