Arshdeep
Arshdeep has made history by being the first bowler in T20I history to bowl 5 no balls in a single game.

Arshdeep Singh “totally lost it,” according to former Australia bowler Brett Lee, who has spoken out about his thoughts on the “no-ball” event.

A fortnight ago, Arshdeep Singh had a terrible outing, becoming the first bowler in T20I history to throw five no-balls in a single game. During a Twenty20 International in Pune, Arshdeep set an unwelcome record. The match was played between India and Sri Lanka. Because of his imprecision, India gave up 16 runs and ultimately lost by the same score. Notably, Arshdeep had recovered from an injury and returned to India’s starting lineup for the game. Ex-Australian pacer Brett Lee has spoken out about the ‘no-ball’ performance, claiming that Arshdeep “totally lost it.”

“In the recent T20 match between India and Sri Lanka, I witnessed Arshdeep Singh of India utterly lose it. He kept bowling blanks, one after another. That game had 5 no balls. He would have to take such information very seriously. In his two overs of bowling, he gave up 37 runs. Plus, he was making his way back to the squad after an injury had forced him to miss time. He committed three consecutive oversteps in his second over. When a bowler returns to the game after an injury, they may strive too hard, throwing off their rhythm. They become unstructured and stop moving forward. The pressure comes from the twin goals of getting wickets and pleasing the skipper “Lee mentioned in a video on his channel on YouTube.

Lee, though, thinks Arshdeep can make a comeback and has encouraged the young man to begin again from scratch.

“In bowling, the absence of a ball is the equivalent of a nuclear bomb. A no-ball is the most humiliating thing that can happen to a bowler because it forces them to make an extra delivery and gives the batter a carte blanche. It’s like sticking a knife in the bowler. It seems to me that Arshdeep has the evidence to back it up. What he should do, in my opinion, is to review his training materials, erase the offending entry, analyze its contents, and figure out how to avoid making the same error again “Moreover, he said.

The Indian team did not include Arshdeep in their ODI roster for the current series against New Zealand, but he may play a role in the forthcoming T20Is.
