The first round of the IPL will begin on September 19 in the UAE.

The first game of the IPL UAE leg features the Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings on September 19.

There will be a two-day quarantine for CPL and Sri Lankan players.

The upcoming IPL tournament will be in the UAE this year, and the franchises have already made arrangements to have players from the CPL and SSA tours, who are currently participating in those tournaments, come to the UAE earlier than expected so they can prepare for the start of the tournament.

To return to UAE, the eight franchises pooled their money and secured the transport of Indian players from the UK and the West Indies to the UAE for the second half of the IPL and South Africa and Sri Lanka’s series. Two charter flights would fly the players there, according to the team source quoted by ANI.

“Team management has made the decision to send the players to the UAE and Sri Lanka by having the players take part in a combined team after leaving the CPL. Two charter planes will be carrying players in this instance: one will take players who played in the Sri Lanka-South Africa series in the Island Nation, while the other will transport the players from CPL “The original quote reads, “The source said.”

Both Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians, who will both have big players coming in from the West Indies and Sri Lanka respectively, will open the season.

Both teams have new players joining, including CPL’s Faf du Plessis, Dwayne Bravo, Imran Tahir, and Lungi Ngidi, as well as South Africa-SA series players Quinton de Kock and Kieron Pollard.

Before they are allowed to practice with their clubs, the Caribbean Premier League and South Africa-Sri Lanka series players will undergo two days of isolation.

The Bubble-to-Bubble transfer eliminates the requirement to quarantine, for COVID-19, for six days. The player’s COVID-19 tests were completed, and then they were quarantined so they could join the rest of the team in the bubble.

“There will be two days of isolation when players are brought in from the CPL and SL-SA series bubbles. The first day will be dedicated to meeting their roommates and checking into their dorms. Then, the day after they get tested, they will join the rest of the squad in the bubble “ANI learned about it from the source.

Before the 2021 season, the BCCI announced that any player from the UK who came to the UAE for the IPL would have to go through six days of strict quarantine before joining their old team.

After a virus outbreak caused this year’s cricket season to be delayed in May, it’s back on, and its first match will feature one of the season’s main highlights: the Chennai Super Kings taking on the Mumbai Indians, who are returning to defend their title.

The board has generated a 46-page health advisory that outlines all the guidelines that all IPL personnel must follow in order to keep the league running smoothly.
