Rajasthan Royals won the toss and opted to bat in Sunday’s final at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. Early on, Yashasvi Jaiswal was the aggressor, but he took a fatal shot when he tried to take too many shots.

Hardik Pandya slowed down Jos Buttler, who was looking sharp again. As a result of Pandya’s three huge wickets, RR’s hopes of a comeback were dashed.

Shubman Gill set the tone for the chase with an unbeaten 45 off 43 balls in the middle of the innings. After a patient 34 runs from 30 balls, Pandya was bowled out by Yuzvendra Chahal.

Just 19 balls later, David Miller smashed 32 not out, completing the victory.
