On Friday, former India captain MS Dhoni turned 42, and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar sent him birthday wishes.

On Friday, former India captain MS Dhoni turned 42 years old. Many people around the world are sending their best wishes to India’s captain after he led the team to victory at the 2007 T20 World Cup, 2011 ODI World Cup, and 2013 Champions Trophy. Dhoni debuted for India in December of 2004 and will be hanging up his cleats in 2020. He is the only captain in ICC white-ball history to win all three of the tournament’s major titles. Legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar sent his birthday wishes to Dhoni with a “helicopter shot” joke.

I hope your career as a helicopter shot takes you places. Tendulkar tweeted, “Happy birthday, MS!”

Dhoni is the captain of the Indian Premier League champion Chennai Super Kings and also a player for the team.

To what extent will MS Dhoni participate in the 2024 IPL? After the last game of the year, ‘Thala’ answered the question that had been on everyone’s mind throughout the entire season.

“Trying to find a solution? If you look at the big picture, now is the greatest time for me to announce my retirement. With all the support I’ve received this year, it would be simple for me to simply say “thank you,” but Dhoni made it clear after CSK’s victory over Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2023 final that he intended to play at least one more season of the tournament.

I have about six to seven months to make a decision, and a lot of it is based on how my body feels. It’s not easy for me, but I’ll treat it more as a gift than anything else. Because of how much support I’ve gotten from my supporters, I feel obligated to return the favor. It’s the latter portion of my career, and it all began when I walked down the tunnel before the first game to hear the crowd chanting my name. I stood in the dugout for a while with tears in my eyes. Eventually, I came to the conclusion that I should try to take pleasure in this. The same thing happened in Chennai; that was my final game in that country, but he said he was looking forward to returning to play any role he could.
