Ravindra Jadeja
Midway through the 2022 IPL season, CSK skipper Ravindra Jadeja announced his resignation.

In the wake of Ravindra Jadeja’s IPL 2022 ban, the Chennai Super Kings have reportedly unfollowed him on Instagram.

Chennai Super Kings’ Instagram account unfollowed all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who has been with the team for over a decade. He was also forced to withdraw from the upcoming IPL due to a damaged rib he sustained in the team’s match against Royal Challengers Bangalore on the 4th of May. “As a result of a damaged rib, Ravindra Jadeja was unable to play in Sunday’s match between Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals. He was being monitored and, as a result, has been ruled out for the remainder of the IPL season “CSK issued a statement confirming this.

The sudden disappearance of the all-rounder and the fact that he was unfollowed generated speculation of a breach inside the organization.

As a result of this, there have been rumors on social media that Jadeja unexpectedly quit the season due to problems with the club.

Dhoni played cheap politics with #Jadeja by first making him a scapegoated captain to blame for the worst season, then sacking him from the captain in just 8 matches, then Dhoni criticizing his captaincy, then #CSK unfollowing him, and now sacking him from IPL BEST PLAYER but insulted, wrote one Twitter user.

“He may have stepped down as captain because something had been festering for some time. In addition, Jadeja was not acting like himself. As for his injury, it appears to be a mystery “another person commented on this.

CSK retained the all-rounder for Rs 16 crore, making him the most expensive player in IPL 2022. Even though the competition didn’t begin for another couple of days, he had already been named captain.

While he was in charge, CSK lost six of their first eight matches. With his form waning, Jadeja was only able to score 111 runs and take three wickets in these three games.

For the sake of his personal game, he renounced the captaincy and asked MS Dhoni to lead the team again.

Under Dhoni, CSK won two of their three games.

Jadeja has had a disappointing start to the season, scoring just 116 points in 10 games (an average of 19.33 points per game) with a high point total of only 26. He has only taken five wickets so far in the tournament.

On Thursday, CSK will play the Mumbai Indians.
