Rahul Dravid
For Virat Kohli, Rahul Dravid developed into a throwdown expert.

Virat Kohli is seen giving it his all while batting in the nets while receiving throwdowns from head coach Rahul Dravid in a video that has gone popular on social media.

In spite of missing the team’s first practice game against Western Australia XI on Monday, Indian batsman Virat Kohli made sure to work out in the nets as the T20 World Cup gets underway on October 16. On social media, a video of Kohli giving his all while practicing his batting has gone viral. The fact that the ace batter was receiving throwdowns from India’s head coach Rahul Dravid, though, grabbed more attention.

Here is a link to the video:

Earlier, Kohli was having trouble with his form, but at the 2022 Asia Cup, he made a stunning recovery. Only behind Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan, the right-handed hitter finished the continental competition with the second-highest run total.

Kohli also broke his nearly three-year international century drought throughout the event. He recorded a 122-point total while playing Afghanistan.

In the third and final T20I of a bilateral series, Kohli extended his hot streak by scoring 63 runs against Australia. The next T20I, against South Africa, saw Kohli hit 49 unanswered runs.

He’s in Australia right now for the T20 World Cup. In the opening exhibition game, the master of batting was rested. However, he is most likely to participate in the second exhibition game on October 13 against the same foe.

Then, on October 17 and 19, respectively, India will play two exhibition games against Australia and New Zealand before beginning their T20 World Cup campaign on October 23 against Pakistan.
