In preparation for a match in The Hundred, Harry Kane took part in a six-hitting tournament at Lord’s.

Harry Kane, the Tottenham Hotspur striker, and England captain played cricket at Lord’s on Monday before the London Spirit’s The Hundred tournament match against Manchester Originals. During a six-hitting challenge at the historic cricket ground, Kane and his Tottenham teammate Matt Doherty were observed bragging about their batting abilities. Big shots off of friendly full throws can be seen in a video released by The Hundred. During the broadcast, Kane was joined by former India head coach Ravi Shastri, who served as a color commentator.

London Spirit defeated Manchester Originals by 52 runs in their most recent match. Batting first, the Eoin Morgan-led team produced 160 for 6 in 100 balls. Both Zak Crawley and Morgan Crawley scored 41 and 37, respectively, from 34 and 26 attempts, respectively. Additionally, Kieron Pollard’s quickfire 34 not out off 11 balls aided the team’s cause. Paul Walter tallied 2 for 18 in the bowling department.

Mason Crane and Jordan Thompson each took two wickets as Manchester Originals were beaten for 108 runs in response.

As a side note, Pollard reached the milestone of 600 T20 games during the encounter on Monday. Shoaib Malik, Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo, and Ravi Bopara are among the players following Pollard.

Tottenham Hotspur, on the other side, began its Premier League 2022-23 season with a 4-1 victory over Southampton. The team’s next game is against London rivals Chelsea, which will take place on August 14.
