The choice of Mohammed Shami by Team India had drawn criticism from Shoaib Akhtar.

After Pakistan’s loss in the T20 World Cup final, Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammed Shami got into a social media argument. After Shami’s “Karma” tweet, a vintage Akhtar video has gained popularity.

After Pakistan’s loss to England in the T20 World Cup 2022 final, Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammed Shami—two of the best pacers in their respective eras—got into a minor Twitter argument. After Pakistan lost the game, Akhtar tweeted a “heartbroken” emoji, but Shami responded with “Karma.” In his own response to the Indian pacer, Akhtar shared a tweet from Harsha Bhogle and referred to it as “logical.” Many people were curious as to what actually happened during the two’s social media duel. As investigators continue to look for a cause, a video in which Akhtar criticized Shami has gained a lot of attention.

After the Indian team was eliminated from the T20 World Cup, Akhtar posted a lengthy video detailing the mistakes made by Rohit Sharma’s team during the competition. The Rawalpindi Express even claimed in the video that Shami shouldn’t have traveled to Australia with the team.

“India’s captaincy is now in place. The management team is accountable. Shimi ko uthake le aaye is the major selection that is puzzling in the bowling sector. A fast bowler named Acha exists, but not a banta. (India should examine their captaincy. The management must also accept responsibility. The selection calls for the bowling unit included a few that were unclear. Shami was unexpectedly added to the group. Despite being a good bowler, he didn’t fit in the team’s lineup “In that video, Akhtar said.
