Virat Kohli posted a motivational post on Twitter after India lost the World Test Championship final to New Zealand.

In the inaugural World Test Championship (WTC), India lost to New Zealand in the final, after which captain Virat Kohli shared a motivating message for the team on social media. In an Instagram post, Kohli wrote that the team is much more than that – it’s a family. As this picture was shared on social media platforms, the captain, Virat Kohli, included the following note: “This is not a team of individuals. It’s a family of three.” Furthermore, with an emoji of a person with a heart, he wrote: “We keep moving forward. TOGETHER.”

In the rain-affected final, New Zealand defeated India by eight wickets to claim the WTC Championship Trophy.

Before the final, Kohli had stated that the last few years have seen India on another level in Test cricket, and one match does not provide the perfect comparison to the rest of the world.

He had predicted that even if they lost the World Trade Center final, cricket would remain part of their lives.

After their loss in the World T20 final, the Test team has a month to regroup ahead of the five-match series against England, with the first match scheduled for August 1st.
