After the first innings of the RCB vs RR match in Pune, Riyan Parag and Harshal Patel got into an argument.

Match 39 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season saw an on-field argument between Riyan Parag and Harshal Patel as Rajasthan Royals faced Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune. This occurred following RR’s first innings total of 144 for eight in 20 overs, with Parag scoring an undefeated half-century. During the 20th over, Harshal bowled, and Parag hit four and two sixes, one of which came off the final ball. With a six-over cow corner, the 20-year-old batted out the over for 18 runs. An argument broke out between him and Harshal after the innings, which was interrupted by members of the support staff of the Royal Challengers Bengal (RR).
