India’s Jasprit Bumrah and South Africa’s Marco Jansen got into a scuffle on the third day of the second Test match in Johannesburg, which is now in progress. During the 54th over, Jansen threw a short delivery to Bumrah, who attempted a pull but it rolled off the right side of his body. After that, they came face to face in mid-pitch and exchanged angry words for a short time. Bumrah received a shoulder strike on the prior delivery. Lungi Ngidi’s delivery outside edged to Jansen at point, and the 28-year-old was out for a duck in the 57th over. Bumrah made just seven runs from 14 balls, and he will be hoping for better performance when the home team bats.

On Day 3, India got off to a great start despite the loss of openers Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane in the late session of Day 2.

Pujara scored 53 runs off 86 balls, and Rahane contributed 58 runs off 78 deliveries to the tally for the partnership.

Nonetheless, Kagiso Rabada struck for the South Africans, removing the two, and then taking the wicket of Pant (0).

South Africa has to score 240 runs to win the second Test and tie the series at 1-1 after India were bowled out for 266 in their second innings.
