Specialty bowlers Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh, and Avesh Khan will make up the Indian speed attack in Bumrah’s absence at the Asia Cup. Hardik Pandya will also be ready to roll his arms over. It’s important to note that Harshal Patel’s injury prevented him from making the squad.

Rohit Sharma will serve as Team India’s captain for the continental competition, and they will face Pakistan in their first game. The team enters the competition fresh off a 3-0 shutout victory against Zimbabwe in the most recent ODI series.

Even though they weren’t on the Zimbabwe tour, senior and regular players like Rohit, Hardik, Rishabh Pant, and Yuzvendra Chahal are all competing in the Asia Cup.
