Arjun Tendulkar, son of Sachin Tendulkar, went wicketless in his first IPL game before finally getting one in his second, a nail-biter against SunRisers Hyderabad in the final over.

Fans all across the world tuned in to watch Arjun Tendulkar make his Indian Premier League (IPL) debut for the Mumbai Indians against the Kolkata Knight Riders. In his first match, Arjun, son of Sachin Tendulkar, failed to take a wicket, but in his second, against SunRisers Hyderabad, he did so in a nail-biting final over. Arjun got his first wicket on the fifth ball of the last over when he had Bhuvneshwar Kumar caught by Rohit Sharma at covers with SRH needing 20 runs. Before then, Arjun appeared to be on track and bowled a pair of effective yorkers that held the SRH hitters scorelessly.

Rohit Sharma was pleased after Arjun took his first wicket for MI, and the team went on to win by 14 runs.

In the Indian Premier League match that took place on Tuesday, the Mumbai Indians prevailed against the Sunrisers Hyderabad by a score of 14 runs. Cameron Green’s fifty helped the Mumbai Indians, who were put into bat, record a formidable 192 for five. The home side continued to lose wickets at regular intervals, eventually being bowled out for 178 in 19.5 overs.

Earlier in the game, Green hit 64 (unbeaten) from 40 balls, including six fours and two sixes.

Tilak Varma (37), along with Ishan Kishan (38), made significant contributions to the work.

Two wickets were taken by Marco Jansen (2/43) for the home team, and one each was taken by Bhuvneshwar Kumar (1/31) and T Natarajan (1/50).

Fast Facts: After 20 overs, the Mumbai Indians were 192-5 (Cameron Green, 64 not out; Marco Jansen, 2/43) Mayank Agarwal scored 48 runs, while the rest of the team was dismissed for 178 runs in 19.5 overs.
