On Wednesday, MS Dhoni took to Facebook to post a video of the graphic novel.

MS Dhoni, the captain of the Indian cricket team, is now turning his hand to sci-fi graphic novels with the release of ‘Atharva’. On Wednesday, the former Indian captain shared a video of the graphic novel on Facebook. In the sci-fi graphic novel “Atharva,” the veteran wicketkeeper-batter portrayed the role of the main character, fighting devils in his animated form. ‘Happy to reveal my new Avatar…..Atharva,’ Dhoni captioned the clip.

Dhoni is now preparing for the upcoming Indian Premier League in his hometown of Mumbai (IPL).

In advance of the February 12 and 13 auction in Bengaluru, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) retained him as one of four players.

RJ, Moeen Ali, and Ruturaj Gaikwad are the only other CSK players not named Dhoni who are still on the team.

Jadeja was paid Rs 16 crore, while Dhoni was paid Rs 12 crore for his services. Ruturaj has retained for Rs 6 crore, while Moeen was retained for Rs 8 crore.

CSK will go into the auction with a total bankroll of Rs 48 crore, has already spent Rs 42 crore on player retention.

As a result of his contributions to CSK’s auction plans, Dhoni has been a crucial factor in their success in the lucrative IPL.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) will feature 10 teams in the 2018 season, with the inclusion of two new franchises, Lucknow Super Giants and Ahmedabad. CSK will be hoping to retain its crown.
