Sri Lanka vs India
Navdeep Saini is doubtful for the T20I series decider against Sri Lanka.

Navdeep Saini who didn’t bowl a single over in the 2nd T20I had his shoulder wounded while he was camping at the extras in the penultimate over the Sri Lankan innings.

Bowling coach Paras Mhambrey said the BCCI medical staff evaluated bowler Navdeep Saini, who wounded his shoulder while fielding Sri Lanka in the second T20. In the penultimate, Saini, who didn’t bowl in the game, was removed off the field by the Sri Lankan innings when he injured his shoulder when he was off the field. After Krunal Pandya’s positive COVID-19 test, eight of her players in isolation lost the depleted Indian team on Wednesday at the second T20 in Colombo by four wickets.

“I assume the medical team handles him in Navdeep’s case. We will evaluate the issue perhaps tonight or in the morning and decide appropriately, “Mhambrey remarked at the news conference after the match.

“And I think we will continue to make modifications once the decision is completed and passed on to the selectors and the coach,” he continued.

In fact, India was reduced to a modest 132/5 with a 40-score Skipper Shikhar Dhawantop.

The hosts chased the goal with four wickets in hand and two balls to be replaced by Dhananjaya de Silva, who struck a match-winning 40.

The third T20 series will be played at the same location tonight.
