The Shooting World Cup
The Shooting World Cup in Baku continued to be the last international shooting game ere the Olympics.

The ISSF World Cup was to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan between 21 June and 2 July but has now been canceled due to a spike in COVID-19 cases.

The upcoming ISSF World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan, to be handled just ere the Tokyo Olympics, a resolution was not due to a surge in Kovid-19 cases in the organism country. The competition was scheduled to consider place from June 21-July 2 and would have served as high-grade preparation for all the shooters who have tempered for the Tokyo Olympics. The Azerbaijan Shooting Federation (ASF) has apprised the International Shooting Sport Federation that due to this surge in Kovid-19 cases in Azerbaijan, the country’s government “considered it inapplicable and unsafe to combine the ISSF World Cup in Baku” in a report said.

“Acknowledging all the above, we are obligated to inform you that the ISSF World Cup will not be Baku 2021,” the ISSF quoted the ASF as speaking.

“We are extraordinarily sorry concerning this, but there was a no different solution because the health of the participants is the main priority for all of us.”

The Tokyo Olympic Games are scheduled to be held from 23 July to 8 August.

India will commence a 15-man squad at the Tokyo Games, and the joint World Cup in Baku was the final top international excursion for shooters ahead of the game showpiece in the Japanese capital.
