West Indies all over Andre Russell and Pedro Brathwaite are some of the seven players retained again for coming to Caribbean Prime Minister League 2021 with Jamaica Tallawahs on Saturday.

West India’s all-round Andre Russell and Carlos Brathwaite are amongst the seven players retained on the upcoming 2021 Caribbean Premier League (CPL) by Jamaica Tallawah on Saturday. The Jamaican Tallawahs have announced that they will retain the 2021 CPL. The side also kept Rovman Powell, and Chadwick Walton, and Fidel Edwards, who returned to the CPL in 2020, after impressing with their pace last year, for the 2021 season. The Tallawahs have also welcomed Verasammy Permaul and last season’s ICC Americas team, Ryan Persaud, back-armed spinner.

“The Tallawahs have 10 spots to complete and will be revealed in the weeks to come,” a statement is available on the website of the CPL.

The 2021 CPL starts on August 28 and runs until September 19, as reported by the organizers on Thursday.

This year’s tournament will be held in St Kitts & Nevis and all 33 matches will be played in Warner Park. The successful implementation of the CPL in Trinidad and Tobago in 2020 is a consequence.
