On Monday, a snake invaded the playing surface during a match between the Galle Titans and the Dambulla Aura for the Lanka Premier League 2023. Dambulla’s 181-run chase was in the midst of the fifth over when the tragedy occurred. Shakib Al Hasan, the hero of the Galle Titans, was spotted waving at the snake as the game was called off.
The athletes all laughed together. Galle prevailed in the decisive one-over tiebreaker.
Sri Lanka will host the Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2023 from July 30 to August 21, and international cricket stars like Babar Azam, Shakib Al Hasan, and David Miller are raring to go.
