Rishabh Pant
Rishabh Pant posted a picture of himself and MS Dhoni on Dhoni's birthday.

Rishabh Pant looked back at some of the unique photos on his Instagram and recalled a funny story.

When India took on New Zealand in the final of the World Test Championship, wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant remembered his Instagram memories as he looked back ahead of the game. Pant remembered the stories behind the photos in a video posted by the International Cricket Council. One of the more notable photos depicted retired Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni. As shown in one of the pictures, Pant can be seen with Dhoni, whom he shares a birthday with, next to him, his face bearing a heaping serving of what appears to be birthday cake.

Pant did recall that the cake was not very creamy, so all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, as the world’s first sponge smearing genius, decided to mix some curd and apply it to Dhoni’s face.

Check out the video on this page:

“In this case, we were using the cake to put make-up on Mahi and Jaddu brought yogurt and applied it to him. After that, he ran around looking for Jaddu “According to Pant,

“It was not very soft and creamy, so he applied curd to make it a bit softer. The moment was captured when we were laughing and he was with us, “they smiled at each other fondly

Pant’s original post follows.

According to Pant, Dhoni had presented him with his first ODI cap while he was still a member of the India squad. The pride in knowing that I’m receiving the cap from Dhoni, as he has always been a role model for me, was very special for him.

“Dhoni just told me to enjoy my cricket,” Pant stated.

Pant is set to start as India’s wicketkeeper for the final.

Because of these plays, Pant made a huge difference for the team, and the management will be hoping for more of the same in the big game tomorrow.
