Dubai hosts a game between the Indians and the Stars, in which the former is facing a difficult challenge.

In their 100th Indian Premier League game, Mumbai Indians’ Jasprit Bumrah will take the field to play against the Chennai Super Kings in Dubai.

Sunday saw Jasprit Bumrah join a group of Mumbai Indians legends who had previously played for the team. In his 100th IPL encounter, Bumrah emerged at the Dubai International Stadium to represent Mumbai Indians in a series-opener against Chennai Super Kings. Only six players had previously reached this milestone before Bumrah did. A gift of a unique jersey was delivered to the paceman by the MI Director of Cricket Operations, who had the number 100 inscribed on the back.

Prior to the match against CSK, the Mumbai captain had collected 115 wickets in 99 outings. The team tweeted a picture of their star bowler clutching the jersey awarded by Zaheer to social media to celebrate him.

Bumrah, who has been in a slump all season, finally delivered an above-average outing. In seven games, he only took six wickets before the competition was canceled because the incidence of the deadly COVID-19 virus was on the rise in the bio-secure bubbles.

After a short break, Bumrah will be anxious to showcase his abilities for his teammates, especially in the ongoing tournament, as his team returns to defend their title.

Mumbai will have a new captain for Match 30 as normal skipper Rohit Sharma will be absent, and Kieron Pollard will lead the team instead.
