In Ranchi on Friday, Rohit Sharma was surprised by a pitch invader during India’s second T20I against New Zealand. A 34-year-old fielder in the middle of the outfield was approached by a fan who had broken through the security barrier during the first inning. As cricket invasions have become more popular in recent months, the video was shared on social media and quickly went viral. India won the three-match series 2-0 after defeating New Zealand by seven wickets.
