Saturday's U19 Asia Cup match between India and Pakistan ended in a pulsating defeat for the Indians.

In a nail-biter, Pakistan beat India by two wickets at the ICC Academy Ground Number 2 in Dubai in the ongoing ACC U19 Asia Cup 2021 on Saturday. Muhammad Shehzad hit an 81-run innings. On Monday, India will take on Afghanistan, while Pakistan will face the United Arab Emirates. Abdul Wahid was dismissed for a paltry (0) by Rajvardhan Hangagrekar as Pakistan was chasing 238 to win. Maaz Sadaqat and Muhammad Shehzad shared a 64-run second-wicket partnership, which Rasheed Raj Bawa ultimately broke in the 15th over of the innings.

Shehzad kept Pakistan in the game despite Pakistan losing wickets on a regular basis. Runs were needed from the last over after Shehzad was dismissed by a run-out, but Pakistan had to settle for a draw.

On the final ball, Pakistan needed two runs to win, and Ahmad Khan struck a boundary to do it. Raja Bawa took four wickets for India.

As India was bowled out for 237 in 49 overs, Aaradhya Yadav hit a half-century. Zeeshan Zameer scored 5-60 for Pakistan at the tournament.

Harnoor Singh and Kaushal Tambe scored 46 and 32, respectively, for India in the tournament. Yash Dhull went out for a first-ball duck as captain of the team.
