India A and Under-19 teams at the National Cricket Academy: Former India batsman Wasim Jaffer believes that Rahul Dravid, who is the current India A and Under-19 team coach, should be permitted to concentrate on the national sides, including the senior side, at the NCA.

Wasim Jaffer, the former India batsman, believes that Dravid, who is now with the Indian squad touring Sri Lanka as the team’s limited-overs coach, should not be pressed for a long-term position as the team’s full-time coach. In response to a YouTube video released by Jaffer, he provided his own commentary and explained his view. “I feel that he (Dravid) should not be put under additional pressure to be a national team coach. The international players are polished things, thus he needs to work with the U19 and India A players.”

Jaffer talked about Dravid’s influence on India’s young and NCA players and the national side and how his influence helped India acquire a solid pool of bench players in international cricket.

“In Rahul Dravid’s opinion, India’s young players need the most supervision and direction at the Under-19 and India A levels, afterward they can finally accomplish the next level. Since that’s the case, he needs to remain at the NCA for an extended amount of time for our bench strength to continue to improve “Jaffer had this to say.

Jaffer applauded the work of both the BCCI and Dravid and the efforts of each of them to set up a robust player supply chain for the senior team.

Because of the infrastructure built by the BCCI, there’s a large supply of players who are willing to represent their country, and I think it also needs to be credited to Rahul Dravid.

According to Jaffer, Dravid is the best mentor and role model in Indian cricket because he is leading the NCA in several roles, including the Head Coach for Under-19, India A, and fringe players as well as International players that travel to the NCA while they aren’t in the team.

He believes that Dravid’s coaching will be an enormous advantage to the young players in Sri Lanka because they can learn a lot from him.

“Although Dravid deserves a lot of credit for developing these promising young players, I believe the lion’s share goes to him for molding these up-and-comers into international stars. Now he’ll be traveling to Sri Lanka as the coach of this Indian team, therefore I’m sure those players will gain a lot from his advice “He concluded.
