When assessing India’s likely roster for the ICC World Cup 2023, former India opener Wasim Jaffer thought Shikhar Dhawan would be a solid addition but left out spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. In addition to Ishan Kishan, Jaffer listed KL Rahul and Sanju Samson as wicket-keeping options.
