During the second Test against Sri Lanka, David Warner has seen batting.

In a heartfelt Instagram post on Monday, David Warner thanked the Sri Lankan fans for hosting Australia “in what is an extraordinarily tough moment” and expressed gratitude for their support.

Sri Lanka’s historic victory against Australia in the second Test in Galle heralded the end of the Australians’ tour of the country in the midst of a national crisis. Australian cricket fans have reason to be happy after their team bounced back to win an exciting one-day international series against India. After a terrible batting display in the first Test, Sri Lanka bounced back to beat Australia by an innings in the second match of the series.

To express his gratitude to the Sri Lankan fans for hosting Australia “during what is a tremendously tough moment,” star Australian batsman David Warner took to Instagram on Monday.

“Thank you, Sri Lanka, for allowing us to come to your country during this tough period. This opportunity to play the game we love, one that we know you all enjoy supporting, is truly a blessing for us “In his blog post, Warner stated.
