Harbhajan Singh, a former India off-spinner, has spoken on the state of Indian cricket and his plans for constructing India’s Twenty20 squad.

Harbhajan Singh, a former India off-spinner, has discussed his hopes for the game in India and his strategy for assembling a winning Twenty20 squad. Harbhajan’s extensive background in the sport allowed him to recognize the potential of up-and-coming players like Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, and others. Harbhajan’s strategic advice, which emphasizes the necessity of developing young and building a dynamic team, sheds insight on the promising future of Indian cricket.

When discussing batsmen, I believe that Shubhman Gill has a promising future. Yashasvi, like him, has the opportunity to shape India’s future. In my opinion, Yashasvi is India’s best hope for the future, and he will undoubtedly be a member of Team India. Also present, and perhaps serving as captain, is Shubhman Gill. This is a discussion of the long-term future. And I expect Tilak Varma and Rinku Singh to be there as well, so I’m putting together a potential Indian team squad. Harbhajan Singh said on Star Sports that all of the athletes are excellent.

When asked how he would construct a future Team India T20 squad, former India off-spinner Harbhajan remarked, “If we look at the current form, and if we want to go in the direction of youth, then Yashasvi is the best option available.” There was considerable talk of assembling a young team after our disappointing showing at last year’s T20 World Cup in Dubai. I don’t want to single anyone out, but I do think that under Hardik Pandya’s captaincy, a new team should be put together consisting of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rinku Singh, and Shubhman Gill. The team’s potential will be maximized if Hardik is the captain, Yashasvi and Gill begin the batting, and Ruturaj Gaikwad, Rinku Singh, Tilak Varma, and Nitish Rana all play significant roles.
