Three players were awarded Grade A agreements

BCCI announces annual women’s team contracts, with Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, and Poonam Yadav in top positions.

The Indian Cricket Control Board (BCCI) confirmed annual contracts for the Senior Women’s Team on Wednesday. A total of 19 players have been retained by the BCCI, the top contract being Captain Harmanpreet Kaur, T20 International (T20I) Smriti Mandhana, and Poonam Yadav. Mithali Raj – the Test Captain and the ODI Teams – and Jhulan Goswami were among 10 players to be awarded Grade B contracts. The Shafali Verma young sensation has also been upgraded from Grade C to Grade B.

For the period between October 2020 and September 2021, the Grade A players will receive Rs 50 Lakh each while the ten players with Grade B contracts will receive Rs 30 Lakh each.

For this time, the players in grade C will receive Rs 10 lakh each.

The players that were awarded Grade B contracts are Mithali Raj, Jhulan Goswami, Deepti Sharma, Punam Raut, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Radha Yadav, Shafali Verma, Shikha Pandey, Taniya Bhatia, and Jemimah Rodrigues.

Grade C contracts were awarded to Mansi Joshi, Arundhati Reddy, Pooja Vastrakar, Harleen Deol, Priya Punia, and Richa Ghosh.

India Women will fly to the UK for their next job. In a single test, they will take England women, three ODIs, and three T20Is.
