IPL 2022: Rajasthan Royals (RR) all-rounder Jos Buttler has had an outstanding season. England’s batsman has already smashed three hundred in the Purple Cap race.

In the ongoing IPL 2022, experts are running out of terms and superlatives to describe Jos Buttler. With three tonnes so far this season, it looks like the talismanic opener for Rajasthan Royals has left everyone else behind. Ex-England cricketer Kevin Pietersen said fantastic performances like Jos Buttler’s against Delhi Capitals and his impact in the most thrilling IPL season increase the standard of the league in praise of Buttler’s aggressive knock.

On Star Sports’ ‘Cricket Live,’ Pietersen stated, “A lack of adjectives and superlatives has us at a loss for words. These kinds of innings elevate the TATA IPL to legendary status. It’s a big hit with the audience, with ourselves, and with everyone in the studio. Some of the pictures he made were simply unattainable. Because no one sells it, you can’t practice it. It’s either there or it’s not. He’s such a gifted musician, and he’s in top form right now. As soon as he begins to attack like that, you can’t help but marvel at his skill. He was patient and it paid off.”

Pietersen praised Buttler’s IPL achievements, saying he expects more of the same from England’s swashbuckler, who is currently in magnificent form.

Pietersen made the following statement: “When Jos faced Delhi Capitals, he did an incredible job (in the previous game). Since he’s in such terrific form in the tournament, I have no doubt he’ll keep going strong with the bat, especially with such good wickets. Because of this, I do not anticipate him to alter his style of play.”

Piyush Chawla, a former Indian spinner, praised Jos Buttler’s imperious form this season, claiming that some players score as many runs in a complete season.

She remarked: “He’s already racked up 490 or so runs at the midway point of the tournament. An average season for most baseball players sees them rack up that many runs. This year, he’s hitting the ball exceptionally well.”

On Tuesday, the Rajasthan Royals will play at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium against the Royals Challengers Banglore. This will be Faf du Plessis and the Challengers’ second match against Rajasthan Royals, and they’ll want to get back on track.
