There will be a bilateral tour between South Africa and the West Indies women's cricket team in the future.

South Africa will host the West Indies cricket team from January 25 to February 6 for a bilateral visit.

A warm-up match and four one-day internationals (ODIs) have been added to Cricket South Africa’s (CSA) program for the upcoming West Indies series. A “bio-secure environment” will be maintained at the Imperial Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg for the duration of the trip, which runs from January 25 to February 6. Additionally, the announcement stated that the venue was within walking distance of the hotel where both teams would be staying.

Five matches, including a warm-up match and four Women’s ODIs, will be played between January 25 and February 6, according to a press release issued by Cricket South Africa (CSA). “CSA is pleased to confirm a revised schedule for the inbound tour featuring the Momentum Proteas and the West Indies,” it said.

For the sake of Cricket West Indies’ concerns and requests, CSA has decided to stage all matches in a bio-secure environment (BSE) at Johannesburg’s Imperial Wanderers Stadium, a location that has been reserved for exclusive use because of an ongoing pandemic,” it stated.

To prepare for the 2022 ICC Women’s World Cup, both teams will play. New Zealand will host the event from March 4 until April 3rd.

The first and second One-Day Internationals will be played on January 28 and January 31, respectively. Three games are scheduled on February 3 and four are scheduled for the following day, Friday, February 6.
