IPL 2021: Mumbai Indians (MI) started training without Captain Rohit Sharma, who is already in England, with the Indian Premier League poised to restart.

Mumbai Indians (MI) took part in social media to broadcast a video of their first training in the United Arab Emirates with the end of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. (UAE). On 13 August, members of the MI squad landed in Abu Dhabi and completed a one-week quarantine recently. The video showcases the likes of Ishan Kishan and Zaheer Khan, showing guys sweating it on the field. “First day in 55 seconds in the office! The MI squad minus their captain Rohit Sharma arrived in the UAE. For India’s continuing five-match test series, the top batsman is now in England, along with Jasprit Bumrah and Suryakumar Yadav. India is now leading the 1-0 series with the third test scheduled to commence in Leeds on 25 August.

After training, the franchise hopes to produce a successful race. Before the season was postponed in May, MI was fourth with eight points from seven games on the table of points.

On the top of the table are Delhi Capitals (DC), followed by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Bangalore Royal Challengers (RCB).

Due to the increase in COVID-19 instances in bio-secure bubbles, the league was postponed to May 4.

The reigning champions start the UAE leg and face MS Dhoni’s CSK in Dubai on 19 September.
