Captain Virat Kohli from India is preparing for the next five-game testing series against England. Although Kohli was absent in the three-day warmup versus County XI in Durham, he was observed middling with the ball during a web session. Reminiscing about one of his test hundreds on the England tour in 2018, Kohli shared a picture on Friday on Twitter. In the picture, Kohli celebrated his hundred he hit three years ago in the Edgbaston Test. “Remember who you are and let NEVER else persuade you,” Kohli entitled the picture.

In a five-game Test series, India will meet England with the first game starting on August 4.

The previous time India toured England for a Test series, Kohli was the leader of both teams. The skipper of India overcame the traumas of his 2014 tour and shattered 593 matches in five with the help of two centuries.

Kohli averaged 59.30 in the series, but the visitors lost the series 4-1 despite his amazing bat.

Team India performed a hot-up match before the 2021 test series, with KL Rahul scored an undefeated century while the bowlers looked too beautiful.

Umesh Yadav was the selection of the bowlers, finishing in 15 overviews with figures of three and 22.

Ravindra Jadeja took a wicket and scored a total of 75, with the whole race pushing his case for a selection for the first test of the final XI.

The first five-game series test is scheduled for Trent Bridge in Nottingham.
