Isuru Udana, who bowls for Sri Lanka’s national cricket team, has declared his retirement from international cricket.

Isuru Udana, the former Sri Lanka pace bowler, announced his retirement from international cricket on Saturday. Sri Lanka Cricket president Udana said that it was time for him to step aside for the next generation of players, announcing his retirement from international cricket. With great pride and enthusiasm, and deep dedication, he said, “I have dedicated my life to serving my country.” Sri Lanka Cricket also expressed their hopes for Udana, who was a crucial performer in both red-ball and white-ball sides for the country.

Udana made 45 ODI and 35 T20I wickets while playing 21 ODIs for Sri Lanka. He was unsuccessful with his left-arm pace in the T20I against India, bowling just one ball.

He had previously played an ODI against India, scoring 0-27.
