ANI is reporting that Royal Challengers Bangalore are sending Virat Kohli and Mohammed Siraj in a chartered jet from Manchester to Dubai.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is planning to charter a jet from Manchester to Dubai on Sunday morning so that Virat Kohli and Mohammed Siraj can be there for the start of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. They will be isolated for a six-day quarantine before playing with the rest of the team. The Times of India paraphrase: After arriving in Dubai on Sunday morning, Virat and Siraj are expected to take a charter airplane from Manchester to get there Saturday night.

The 5th cricket match in Manchester, which was supposed to take place on Friday, got canceled.

The Indian team became ill to COVID-19, therefore they couldn’t play the cricket match.

The new season will start on September 19th with a key match between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians in Dubai.

Abu Dhabi’s National Stadium will host the match between RCB and KKR, starting on September 20.

For the first time ever, Sharjah will host a match on September 24, with Chennai Super Kings coming to town to play the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

The total number of games will be hosted in three different venues: 13 in Dubai, 10 in Sharjah, and 8 in Abu Dhabi. In preparation for the UAE leg of the series, the BCCI has removed contact tracing devices on September 19.

The board in India has mandated that Bubble Integrity Officers shall follow up on players who show COVID-19 in UAE.

The board created 46-page health advice with the intention of giving guidelines to all of the people connected to the IPL on how to maintain a healthy working environment for the league.
