On the third day of the World Test Championship final, Indian batsman Virat Kohli performed some dance moves as fans played music during the innings break.

On Day 3 of the World Test Championship final against New Zealand at The Ageas Bowl in Southampton, Indian batsman Virat Kohli swayed to some old-school Bhangra music. It didn’t take long for New Zealand to enter the field for the second session of the day, and just before they did, Kohli, who was fielding in the slips at the time, was seen dancing to the sounds of dhols, which the fans at the stadium were creating. Kohli, who is well-known for getting the fans involved on the field, took an unusual step in getting the fans to get behind the team in India’s quest to win the first-ever World T20 championship.

In their first innings, Kohli was one of India’s top scorers while they were all out for 217, thanks to a spell of 5 for 31 by Kyle Jamieson.

While Indian captain Virat Kohli contributed 44 runs to his team’s total, team vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane scored 49 for India, as India could score only 71 more runs for the day’s total of 146 for 3.

While his mischievous behavior was on full display, the truth was that Kohli’s in-game tactics finally bore fruit for India in the third session when left-handed batsman Tom Latham was dismissed for 30 runs to give India their first wactoricket after an opening stand of 70.

June 23 was a backup date for the World Test Championship final, which was originally slated to take place from June 18 to 22.

New Zealand decided to field on the second day after it rained on the first day, causing the game to be washed out.
