XI versus KKR, DC Predicted: DC Management Is Probably Going To Make A Few Changes

Delhi Capitals will face Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League on Sunday.

As for the match between Delhi Capitals and the Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2022, it is expected that Delhi would make one or two changes to their playing XI (KKR).

After a stunning victory over Mumbai Indians in the first match of the Indian Premier League season, Delhi Capitals (DC) have gone downhill since then (IPL). The Gujarat Titans and the Lucknow Super Giants have beaten DC in the last two games by a hairbreadth each. David Warner finally made his squad debut, but things didn’t go quite as planned for DC. In their upcoming match against the Kolkata Knight Riders, the Delhi Capitals are expected to make a few changes to their starting XI (KKR).

When KKR plays DC, this is how they could line up:

David Warner’s DC debut ended in failure when he was bowled for a 12-ball four by Shaun Marsh. Against KKR, the seasoned batsman intends to come out swinging.

Preeti Shankar: Preeti Shankar smashed a counterattacking 68 against LSG. There have been three matches so far when Shaw has scored 109 runs.

To preserve his place in the starting lineup, Sarfaraz Khan will need to play a bigger role in DC’s next match.

In terms of his batsmanship, Rishabh Pant has performed well thus far. DC’s skipper has appeared in three games and racked up 83 runs on the season. PANT has had several promising starts, but he’s been unable to turn them into significant victories.

After opening the batting in the first two games, Tim Seifert was replaced by David Warner in the third match. Rovman Powell is yet to hit his stride, therefore Seifert may get the nod over him in the starting XI for now.

Lalit Yadav, who had hits of 25 and 48 not out in the last encounter, was unable to bat. His versatility has extended to his ability to play with the ball.

Axar Patel: Axar Patel has struggled mightily this season aside from his heroics at the plate in the opener. So far, he’s been a little pricey with the ball.

Shardul Thakur’s IPL career has gotten off to a bad start. Shardul has been a costly option with the bat after a lackluster performance with the bat.

Kuldeep Yadav: The left-arm spinner has rediscovered his best form following a two-year slump. His six wickets in three matches make him DC’s leading wicket-taker.

Once upon a time, Mustafizur Rahman was one of the most promising young players in the game. So far, he has participated in two games, taking three wickets and being quite frugal.

Despite being retained by DC, Anrich Nortje was forced to sit out the team’s first two games with an injury. He made his debut in the last game, but it cost a lot of money. Nortje intends to rebound back in the upcoming match-up.
