Sachin Tendulkar was asked who he thought was best between him and Virat Kohli during an interview. The legendary Indian batsman had a wonderful response.

As a batsman, Virat Kohli has long been considered the successor to Sachin Tendulkar in the Indian cricket squad. It’s true that Kohli has been struggling with the bat lately and hasn’t scored an international century since 2019, but it doesn’t change his historically dismal record in all three formats. Kumar Kohli is projected to come within touching distance of some of Sachin Tendulkar’s great performances with the bat.

An ongoing discussion among cricket fans is whether Virat Kohli is better than Sachin Tendulkar at the plate.

Tendulkar’s supporters, especially the younger ones, will likely continue to support him in this argument.

If you ask cricket legend, Sachin Tendulkar, about this, he’ll give you a courteous response:

Graham Bensinger, an American journalist, asked Tendulkar on his YouTube channel, “Which cricketer is better, Sachin or Virat?”

Tendulkar chimed in, “How about having both of us in one team?”

While Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni are among the greatest cricketers of all time, Virat Kohli’s 44-run victory over West Indies in the second one-day international in Ahmedabad last week put him in a class of his own.

Kohli has now played 100 ODIs at home, which is a career-high for him. In last week’s second One-Day International against the West Indies, the former India captain hit the recorded statistic.

In the end, India defeated the West Indies 3-0 in the one-day international series. The Indian team led by Rohit Sharma won the first of three T20Is in the series.
