Online threats against an Australian cricketer’s girlfriend are not credible, according to Pakistan Cricket Board officials.

Ashton Agar is an Australian spinner.

Cricket Australia and the PCB were alerted right away when the message was delivered to Agar’s girlfriend, Madeleine, via social media.

It has been alleged by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) that Ashton Agar’s girlfriend received a threat on social media, but the allegation was deemed to be “incredible” after the examination. Australia has returned to Pakistan for the first time in 24 years, and security is extremely tight. An investigation of a social media post has been conducted by the PCB, CA, and unified Government security services, the board stated in a statement.

Security measures have been put into place for this type of social media activity, which in this situation is not deemed a risk. It was also said that “no more remark will be made at this time.”

Cricket Australia and the PCB were alerted right away when the message was delivered to Agar’s girlfriend, Madeleine, via social media.

There is no real threat, according to Australian team security, who also studied the situation.

Last September, threats were made against New Zealand’s team on social media during the team’s trip to Pakistan.

The New Zealand government advised the Black Caps to cancel the tour without playing their white-ball series because of a direct threat to the touring team.

Since the terrorist attack on the Sri Lankan squad in Lahore in March 2009, Pakistan has only hosted six Test matches.
