Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen has been a popular voice in the lucrative Indian Premier League for the past few years. Delhi Daredevils, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Deccan Chargers, and Pune Supergiants are just a few of the franchises he has represented.

Ex-England captain and IPL star Kevin Pietersen pleaded with “India” for urgent assistance, and he made his plea public on Twitter. As part of Star Sports’ coverage of the IPL, Pietersen said that he had misplaced his PAN Card and must get a new one before heading to India for employment.

“India, if you could just step in. On Monday, I’m flying to India, but I’ve lost my PAN card and need it in order to work. He asked on Twitter if anyone could refer him to a person he could get in touch with immediately for assistance.

To help Pietersen, the Indian Income Tax Department swiftly reacted to his cries for help and explained to him how to go about renewing his PAN Card.
