While the India cricketer Rishabh Pant continues to heal from his injuries, Urvashi Rautela wanted to send him a unique message.
Friday, Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela wished Rishabh Pant a speedy recovery and referred to him as “India’s pride” in an interview with the paparazzi. As Pant posted a video to social media showing him walking for the first time since surgery, photographers approached the actress at the Mumbai airport to ask her opinion. Even though she wasn’t sure what photo they were referring to at first, the actress quickly declared, “He is an asset to our country,” and referred to him as “India’s pride.” She responded, “Humari bhi (Mine as well)” when a photographer said their thoughts and prayers were with the wounded star of the Indian cricket team.
Pant, a promising young cricketer, was involved in an automobile accident on December 30 that left him with serious injuries despite his miraculous escape from the burning vehicle.
Reports indicate that his burns are improving after multiple surgeries performed since then. Because of his injuries, he will definitely miss this year’s Indian Premier League, and experts estimate that he will require 6-9 months to make a full recovery.
Urvashi shared a picture of the hospital where Pant was staying with the remark, “Praying, love Urvashi Rautela,” among other enigmatic messages regarding the cricketer.
Before Pant’s near-fatal mishap, Indian cricket star Kapil Dev expressed his concern for the child and joked that he can’t wait to hit him once he recovers.
In a video posted on Uncut, Kapil Dev lamented that India’s cricket squad is in shambles without Pant. Kapil wants to spank Pant after he’s healed up, just like any father would if their child misbehaved.
