In the midst of all the cricketing preparations, a handful of Australian players decided to play some tennis in their leisure time before the match began.

It’s time for the second Test match between Australia and Pakistan, which will take place in Karachi on Saturday, and both teams are hoping to end the series impasse. In order to beat Pakistan, Australia will rely on its bowling attack. A lifeless surface would be bad publicity for Test cricket, and that must be a concern for the Pakistani board. On the other hand, the hosts would prefer to keep the Australian pace attack at bay.

A group of Australian players took advantage of the free time they had before the game to play tennis instead of focusing on the preparations for the cricket match.

Opening-pitch duo David Warner and Usman Khawaja faced Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne in a doubles match. Warner was the one who posted the video and added the caption. “What do we do in our spare time?? Even though I play a little tennis, the other three all play a lot and are quite skilled.”

Take a look at the tennis match between Warner, Smith, Khawaja, and Labuschagne:

In Rawalpindi, Australia’s batsmen responded to Pakistan’s massive first-innings score by hitting more than 400 runs, although no batsman scored a century. As a result of this, Warner, Smith, Labuschagne, and Khawaja would all be eager to keep going in the last two matches and score large runs for the tourists.
