Shikhar Dhawan was one of the Indians that had his status reduced. Along with celebrities like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, who also fell a little after skipping the ODI series, Dhawan fell six spots to number 17.

In the most recent ICC Men’s ODI Players Rankings released on Wednesday, Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav rose five points to enter the top 25, while batter Shreyas Iyer rose three spots to take the number 33 spot. Shreyas Iyer finished with 191 runs in three games, including a century and fifty, to lead the just concluded ODI series against South Africa. With six kills in three games, Kuldeep Yadav also emerged from the series as the series’ top wicket-taker.

Sanju Samson rose to number 93 in the rankings as a result of his strong ODI series performances. In three games, he scored 118 runs, including a heroic 86* in the opening ODI, which India lost.

With 760 rating points, New Zealand southpaw Devon Conway surpassed Australia’s Aaron Finch and Dawid Malan to become the top five hitters in the ICC T20I Rankings.

Conway is currently dominating the tri-nation series at home against Pakistan and Bangladesh in runs scored. He has currently scored 219 runs in four innings, including two half-centuries and his best mark of 70*.

He keeps a careful eye on South African Aiden Markram, the fourth-ranked batter. The top three batters, Mohammad Rizwan, Suryakumar Yadav, and Babar Azam, were able to maintain their positions.

After opening the tri-series with a knock of 78*, Rizwan was unable to contribute significantly. Suryakumar Yadav is only 15 points ahead of him now, and Babar is 30 points back of his opening partner in the third.

England is swift The rankings for bowlers saw significant movement for Mark Wood and Reece Tropley, with the latter finishing at number 11 with a career-high of 646 points. Since making a full recovery from his injury, Wood has also impressed, moving up 14 ranks to land at number 18.

In the just concluded seven-match series against Pakistan, Wood finished with six wickets. He collected 3/34 against Australia in the first T20I. With a total of 17 wickets this year in T20Is, Topley is presently England’s top wicket-taker. He also claimed two wickets in the Perth T20I.

After their 132-run partnership against Australia in the first T20I, batsmen Jos Buttler and Alex Hales also made significant strides. Buttler went up four places to number 22, and Alex Hales entered the top 100.
